Peas Poha Recipe

Poha is one of my favourite, we make it atleast once a week, but mostly it is southindian way by adding coconut to it..But this recipe is new to me and it taste just yummy. I have had this poha quite a few times during our trip to north, i loved it for breakfast..So i tried it yesterday and it was delicious..So here i am with the post.

I added frozen peas in this and made it as peas poha, you can use fresh peas or any veggies in this as well.

Ingredients: Poha / Aval - 2 cupsPeas - 3/4 cup ( i used frozen)Oil - 2 tblspnMustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tspCumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tspGinger - 1 tsp chopped finelyGreen Chilli - 1 chopped finelyChilli Powder - 1 tspTurmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1/2 tspSalt to tasteSugar - 1 tspLemon Juice to tasteCoriander leaves a handful finely chopped
Take poha in a bowl, add water over it. let it sit for 30 sec, then drain it and remove excess water.
Now take that in a bowl, sprinkle salt, sugar, lemon juice, chilli powder and turmeric over it and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
Add in ginger and green chillies and saute for few sec.
Add in peas and mix well.
Now add in the poha and stir fry for few mins.
